Anxiety Help Tips To Keep Anxiety At Bay

There’s Lots Of Tips Online But Here Is The Best Anxiety Help That Worked For Me.

Before I found real help for my anxiety, my life was really difficult to cope with, and some days were just unbearable. I was so annoyed with the way I felt. The constant feeling of anxiousness and jumpiness, it was driving me crazy.

No matter how I tried I couldn’t stop the unnecessary worrying. I had chest pains, headaches and I would get weird burning sensations in my chest. I hated not being able to sleep too. I felt tense and wired all the time like a ticking bomb.

During the day I used to feel so exhausted. I felt irritable and twitchy like I was paranoid or something. I’m sure other people have had it much worse than me but it was not easy living with anxiety all the same.

The following are anxiety help tips that I found the most useful. But if you really want to know how I finally got over anxiety read more here.

1) Notice how you are feeling and talk about them – don’t bottle up your emotions. Talk to your friends and family about your problems. There are anxiety support groups and also forums online to help you vent and release. Don’t forget to socialize too. Get out more with friends and try and meet new people. People with good social networks are generally happier and more successful in life.

2) Learn meditation to help reduce stress and anxiety. I found meditation really difficult to begin with – my mind just wouldn’t shut up! But I tell you, the more you do it the easier it gets and it does a world of good both mentally and physically. You can think of good memories while meditating, listen to music or try some positive affirmations and visualizations.

3) Avoid getting stuck in the same routine. We all do it but monotony just adds to feelings of frustration and anxiety. Try something new and add spice to your life. A new hobby, joining a fitness club, going on a mini break; adding fun and variety to your life can give you a sense of accomplishment and purpose.

4) Laugh more and enjoy life today – I found this a great anxiety help. Ok this might be hard when you’re feeling anxious and apprehensive all the time, or stuck behind an office desk for 9 hours of the day! But try and get some enjoyment out of your day. Watch a comedy, cook yourself a nice dinner, or make love to your partner. Take advantage of those feel good endorphins!

5) Lastly, when you do have anxiety. Notice how you feel and realize that it will pass. Don’t fight the sensations because you can’t and you’ll probably make them worse. Instead try to relax and focus on your breathing. Also try distracting yourself. Do something to keep your mind off it; try exercising, taking a bath or going for a walk.
